I am going to the Keystone area this weekend for a family reunion there.  At both LaCrosse last year, and Maggie Valley this year, the overwhelming concensus is to go back to the Black Hills for 2012.

Tuesday June 19 would be official beginning, ending Sunday the 24th.  As always, some will be getting there earlier for more fun! I will see what I can set up for rates starting saturday night, the 13th, going thru the 24th.

I will check on the Rushmore View Inn in Keystone, and see what I can do for dates and rates.  They have been closed winters, and open up at about that time.  It was really great to sit in the parking lot in the evening, with the lit up faces of Mt. Rushmore for our western "wall"!

To go any later, you run into problems with the 4th of July weekends.  Also, hotter weather, and more tourists.  Also, later in July will probably be Inzane, and it is good to stay away from that.  I am hoping that by being earlier, maybe we can pick some of them up for both events.

I am going to work at setting this up, to help out for our ailing leader, TAZ, who has a lot on his plate right now.  Hopefully everyone can help out some.

If I can work it out this weekend, it will be official.

See you in 012!

Great!!! Those dates are on my calendar without any current conflicts. Weather should be perfect that time of year. I'll start inviting some other folks to come along.
Thanks so much. I'll have the money set aside soon.
MP, when you start scheduling events for this, you can put me in for slow riding clinics, faster riding clinics, tech sessions, etc. (That "etc." does NOT include anything dealing with cleaning a bike) ;-)

Not sure if I will make it or not, but DW said I could go.  She said something about following me in our truck with a trailer.   rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes

Now just need to get my Butt in shape for a 1300 mile ride and find enough pop cans to afford the ride.  But got nearly a year to get it done.

Oss, you can always fly in for a few days. I'd be glad to pick you up at an airport or just come in a rental car. You can always use my bike on the roads.

R.J., here is a quick Google list. Maybe make arrangements with prescriptions and stuff ahead of time?
