I installed a Stebel Nautilus air horn on the Valk this afternoon. Made a simple aluminum bracked and snaked the wires under the tank. A pretty easy install.  AND BOY IS IT LOUD.
Stock motorcycle horns are so wimpy...... I just may change the horn on the V-max but space is really at a premium on the Max.

Did't take any=== it's a really easy install.   A piece of scrap aluminum with 2 holes. I snaked the included "plug and Play" wire kit under the tank with a length of welding rod.  A few minutes later and a touch of the horn button and my ears hurt.

Thatnk, guys.  I put a Stebel horn on my wife's Toyota that had a real puny horn.  It must have ingested water as it only lasted two years.  But for the money, it is the loudest.

Mostly I wanted to see what it looked like. -- I hate the stock horn look on the standard. Sorta looks like Honda got done with the design of the bike and at the last minute, they went - "oh-sh!t, we forgot to put a horn on it!" And then they just stuck a bracket on the side and hung a horn on it.

I want to revise the horn set-up, but I want it to look factory. For the moment I'm tempted to mount 2 interstate horns with the Honda brackets on the bike, but really I'm not wild about the look of that either.

I run two of these on the front of my Valk.....ears may bleed, but they WILL hear me. I bought mine at aerostich, but HDL may be a better deal.

Rivco mounts underneath on the exhaust hangers, just in front of the rear wheel.

I like mine- plenty loud.  Rivco has others as well.
