OldOneEye your black and red Valk is gorgeous!!! I think that's one of my color schemes. I mounted a Stebel behind the petcock with a home made bracket. The horn is chrome and does a great job of filling that hole on the bike as well as keeping away the cagers. Mounted Stebel horns also on my VTX's. All of these bikes came stock with worthless Honda "beepers"  Grin

Hi Plug,
    Read about it at:

http://www.directlineparts.com/product.asp?pid=6955&str=2

But I bought the chromed one Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
I have installed these on a couple of bikes.  Want to drive other bikers crazy?  Buy a blue round mirror (autozone) and glue it to the round part of the horn (chrome horn is the best), using a flexible glue - Gorrilla snot or good silicone glue. The mirror will not effect drivers if mounted facing the side - out and it changes the look so much that they will all want to know that that "thing" is???   I just tell them it is a radar/laser jammer.   Smiley

I just purchased a Bad Boy air horn by Wolo, chrome.  Had to make a bracket which I will remake and have started running the wire.  Then I found out that I didn't have any spade connectors.  Will continue tomorrow.  I read the threads on the forum and got some good info, thanks to you all, and the instructions for the BB horn are very good.  Just not much room to add anything on the Val where you want to put it.  Will take a pick when finished and try to post, thanks to Nitro for the instructions.

By the way, my birthday is today and a darned good number if I do say so, 69.  Didn't think I'd make it this far.  Thanks to the Good Lord and I'm glad he rides motorcycles as he's ridden with me a couple of times and probably some of you as well.

First of all Happy Bithday! Installed a Stebl super chrome air horn last spring. Used the existing factory horn bracket with 2 stainless washers on both sides. Works great and don't use it in a garage!!!!!!

I finished installing the air horn and nothing happened.  Rechecked everything, still nothing.  Decided to check to see if I had a good ground as I didn't run a wire back to the battery ground and yep, it was not making a good contact.  So I relocated it to the top bolt of the engine guard and yes, it's loud.  It reminds me of the old Army trucks air horns which I always loved.  Very pretty sound.  Will follow up later with a pic.
