Installed a new Clearview windshield. No buffeting, wife is happy, intercom now works fine.

I installed a ClearView 2 years ago, other than it stopping a lot of bugs (especially Midges), I haven't had any issues with it.  The extra 2" on on the sides do help in keeping hands warmer during the winter months.

I'm having problems with buffeting, are you on an Interstate?  How tall are you? What height windshield did you get? Do you look over or thru it?  I have the tall Tulsa that I look over, I have to remove the wind deflectors off of my interstate fairing to get enough wind down low to suppress some buffeting over the top.

Thanks

Hi Griz,
I bought a tall (24") GT 2  Clearview shield. I'm 5'8" and I do look through the shield ( not my first choice but there is very little passinger buffitting). The shield is also 2" wider than the standare Tourer windshield. I have no buffitening at all. There is a Honda vent cut into the shield that is always open.
      Hope this helps.

BTW   I do have the stock Tourer shield ( cut down about 2.5") for sale in the "for sale " section. It is 17.5" fron the headlight cutout to the top of the shield.
