Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience importing a Canadian Valkyrie to the US? I am moving to your great country and wish to bring my faithful 1998 Tourer, however American Honda refuses to give me a Compliance Letter stating that the bike meets US FMVSS. (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) I am OK on EPA compliance. They claim that they don't know how the bike was built.

Any comments would be appreciated! Thanks.

thats crazy  it should say ON THE BIKE that it was built in Marysville Ohio   stamped right there on the frame

Its a US bike  the engine should also have MADE IN USA on it as well

You may need a customs expert.

Seems like you should check with Canada Honda, as they imported it from the USA. If the bike went north, it should be able to come back south.

I brought a US Valk up to Canada, so I have a hard time believing a CDN valk would have problems headed stateside.
