Left and Right engine guard bolt on fine along each side, however, the LEFT engine guard will NOT match up to the thread hole in front of the engine, Where both bars join together

I bought honda new left and right engine/crash bars - I had the bolts on the left engine guard lose to make adjustments, it will not match up to the front thread hole ??

That was a problem on my Standard, but I was able to make it work by leaving the other bolts loose. Maybe start at that front bolt and try to get the others to line up afterwards?

I did try that, did not work

its only the small left engine guard. It mounts on the side fine, will not match the tread hole in front ??
Thanks for the reply

Mount the front first. Only thread the bolt in enough to hold it. Then go to the other bolts, repeat and alternately snug them up.
