Most people, at least the ones who post, who mess with the horn not only move it, but swap it out for something a little louder than the stock horn.  I'm sure some will post, but lots of info on "search" as well.

I went with the big BF Quad horn setup that mounts under the bike totally out of sight, and is it ever loud!  Grin shocked Grin
At work now, so I don't have the link, but may have posted it on a previous thread.

Me too!  LOVE it.  Ask Hoser how loud it is!  Mounted it on the swing arm under the bike, totally out of sight.

One guy bought my OEM IS horn mount and I guess he was planning to put it on his Tourer. The IS horn mounts on the crash bar, just left of center when looking at the cycle from the front. I put dual low/high tone horns on my IS and mounted them in the fairing. I think with the wiring, horns, and relay I spent less than $40.

I've got a similar set-up, with air-horns underneath and a louder than stock electric horn up where the OEM was.  My thinking was that if the compressor for the air-horns fail, I've still got a loud electric horn.  In a butt clenching moment, I don't want to hear silence! Grin

yep there is nothing quite like the sound of....nothing  when you hit the air horn

If you have air horns, remember to test them after you do rear wheel maintenance making real sure the hoses are securely attached

ya dont really want to know how I know this    Roll Eyes

I gotta agree with that. It looks like the bike was completely styled and done. And then someone said, "Where's the horn?" A Homer Simson moment. "Doh!" "We forgot..." Now they have go to figure out where to put the damn thing.
