That's for a swinging can holder from a boat, the triangular bracket I just made from a piece of aluminum. The plastic can holders worked for couple years, but they break from the weigh in it and the bouncing.

Fritz thought I read in another thread that you rattle canned your fairing. How did you match the paint and get it in aerosol cans? It really is a beautiful bike.

Also did you polish your hydraulic reservoirs? The forks look great. What kind of polish are you using to keep em shiny?

No, my fairing was painted at a body shop. But I did buy a rattle can of color match at a local auto store. They mixed it from the color codes off the bike and put it in a rattle can. I painted my engine hangers and fairing air wings on my Interstate. The color was right on, but my painting skills are not very good. They turned out OK but not as good as a pro painter. I did not spend enough time sanding out the base coat and then sanding the clear coat. I know there is a guy on the VRCC board that uses rattle can, and it looks like his stuff turns out real nice. You should be able to go to any auto store that supplies your local body shops and have them mix and put in a can. Yes my brake and clutch reservoir are both polished out, as far I what I use to keep my aluminum looking good, pretty much any metal/brass/aluminum polish works, they are all pretty much the same, trust me I've tyred allot of different product.

Thanks for the info. Two more questions please . What seat and back rest system are on your bike? Also, did you use the quick release mountings from Memphis for your batwing?

My seat is just a stock seat from a 2001, you can get them from Honda line direct for 80 or 90 bucks on sale. The back rest is a Utopia, there close to 200 buck, but worth it. The Memphis shade Batwing comes with the quick release, works great, on and off in minutes.
