If the weather holds out and warmer and all that good stuff looking to head up to PdC for weekend and then up to LaCrosse and maybe UP of Michigan.   Will be bringing gerbing, and other jackets of sorts to keep me warm along with rain gear as insurance it won't rain.  Anyone want to join along for a couple days or whatever let me know.  I think I have at least one or two guys from Chicago looking to head up to PdC.   They say temps in the 70's so that great with me......colors are starting to show now too even better!

Let me know when you'll be in the La Crosse area and, if you end up heading to the UP, be sure to swing through Eau Claire. I can take you on some nice roads in this area!

Would like to join you for a couple of days around PDC since its only 140 miles away, but we'll see.  Pretty busy at work with farmers chomping at the bit during harvest.  I have no rear wheel currently either.  Took it off yesterday to change the tire and discover the LH bearing going bad.  Didn't take a crap yet, but it was just a matter of time (didn't turn smooth, inner race had a bit of wobble, installed by local Honda shop 18K miles ago).  MP is doing a fine job coaching me on the mod to replace the single row bearing with the double row, hopefully to last a long time (have had 2 crap out in 85K miles).  I'm going with Dyna beads again too, this E3 lasted 17K miles with hardly any cupping...

If I can hit PDC this weekend, I'll email/call/text/PM...

Have a safe ride TAZ!!   Grin

Good luck with the bearing mod. I did mine last fall and it was certainly easier than installing that cruise you'll be working on in the spring!

ok looks like it will be chilly but sunny this coming weekend, have been in touch with Kaye and Jim so they are getting baby sitter for Saturday...will head up to LAX on Sunday and stay there couple of days then maybe off to UP of Michigan, not sure yet.  Nitro give ya a call and let ya know my plans, I would take 27 up to you in EC and 53.  Roger Dodger if ya can make it cool...you can stay at Jim's house too they have plenty of room and offered to put up couple of people so thats cool.  They are looking forward to riding with us and maybe John from Iowa will join us with the Triumph 2300.  Nice guy for sure.  Leaves should be changing too so get some nice pics I hope.  Let me know...see if Mikey can go too.

Sounds like a plan.  Looks like as of now Saturday thru at least Tuesday will be sunny and warm in the 60's.  But, as you know, those weather forecasters change their minds at a minutes notice.  Have a safe trip and take some pics of the fall colors way up north since down south here a little too early still.  Hope the strong winds we are suppose to get Thursday into Thursday night gusting to 40 mph+ do not take care of the turning leaves up north already starting to fall off the trees around here.
