I don't know why I have such trouble with this forum site and adding pictures. I put them on Shotwell and use Photobucket but I don't seem to have any luck getting them from there to here. Duh, I must just be dense. And the pic I do have is distorted. Apparently to many pixels or something. If someone can email me a step by step direction I'd appreciate it. I see a lot of you post pics and all I can do is look at your and never show my own. Help.

1. Upload your pics to photobucket.
2. When looking at the pictures in your album (you'll see thumbnails of all of your pictures) Hover over the picture you want with your mouse.
3. A menu will pop up around your picture, copy the IMG code (it'll be the last one in the menu).
4. Paste the link code into your thread on the forum.
This should successfully post your picture.

Thanks Nitro. I'm going to write the instructions down and put it with my camera gear. I've use computers for a long time when employed but our system was Microsoft and it was very easy to download or transfer pics. I hope not to bother you guys again with this.

You have to click the single picture you want, then do the upload. I had that problem also as my online storage space had some very lousy instructions and ways of uploading.
You say upload, it assumes the whole damn library.
Took me awhile to finally figure out that I was ignoring a step.

I try to upload an image to photo bucket, and it tries to load my whole library. Can't seem to get it to do just one image. You need to get where your album is shown with all the thumbnail pictures. Then take your mouse and roll it over the pic you want. The finger pointer will come up. Point it at the IMG code (the 4th line down on my pic) and click it. You now have it copied to the clip board. Now go to your post window and paste it in your post. Check my pic.  Hope this helps. |
