I ordered a new u-joint from HDL a week ago and it showed up today with all my other parts, so it looks like Honda finally caught up with orders. I hope I never need it!

i ordered a spare also.  sitting on the shelf in my shed, also hope i never need it but as things are going i should get a spare driveshaft and pinion cup!!  why does it seem like the drive train is the weakest link on these cycles??

Same reason my old big block cars ate u joints so quickly. I also ride mine pretty hard. Being careful and thorough with maintenance really helps.
