Have you started the rebuild yet? Let us know if you're looking for parts.

I look forward to riding with you next summer either way! Take care, Fritz.

The bike was totaled out, I bought it back from the Ins for $2000.  I still can not put any weigth on the ankle I smashed. Doc said about 4 more weeks before I can start putting some weigth on it. I have the bike pretty well torn down. I have everything I need as far as parts, some new and some used. I have about $900 in parts, I hope I can get it repainted for under $2000, that will leave me with about $1500 for a new helmet and coat and few other goodies.

That's kindof the shape my V3 was in when I purchased it from the salvage yard. I sanded and repainted the scratched areas so no need to buy those parts. The right valve cover was cracked but I got one off ebay which did the deal there.
Unfortunately I sold all the engine guards and saddle bag rails etc. in order to pay for the conversion parts otherwise I would have some for you.

I was able to match the paint at NAPA - Color numbers (Napa Cross/Fire 56-51062 emerald green and 56-60116 LT Pewter)

It's clearcoat base coat.

Sorry about your wreck, body and bike.  I just went through the same thing on my 2000 Tourer except it got hit from the rear and pretty much scratched/broke/bent everything on it.  Hope you get her back motoring again soon.

Yowsa! That helmet pic just makes me cringe. I'm sure your head is in much better shape right now due to its sacrifice!
