huh   No not me.  The bike.  Have noticed this the last month.  Cold morning, cold start.  I ride off but when I hit the first bump, pothole, etc.  I both hear and feel a fairly noticeable, metallic clunk coming from under the bike.  It feels to be mid bike.  The good news (I think) is that it goes away as the bike warms up.  Within four or five minutes of riding I can hit a bump at speed and there is no clunk.  I have checked everything I can see and found nothing loose.  There is no leakage of any kind.  Anyone else experience this?  Could it be that the suspension is cold and stiff at first and I'm hearing the kickstand clunking?  I don't think that's it.  I can almost feel something moving horizontally as it clunks.

I'm not an expert on suspension, but my truck does the same thing when really cold, the shocks are noticeably stiffer and you can hear a clunk when hitting small bumps, after a few miles they warm up from oil movement and all is well again, One of your shock may be weaker than the other and contributing to the clunking sound, Any way you could warm the bike up above 50 before leaving the garage and see if it still clunks?

That's a good idea.  I'll try it this weekend.
