Just wondering, has anyone ever attended the "InZane" bike Rallies that I believe are held yearly?

While surfing the net for Valyrie info I've come across the advertisements. The link below is the website for the July 2011 event that was held in Bellaire, Michigan.

I've gone before. Nice, fully planned rallies. Good folks there. It's just not quite my type of rally. I may go to it this year in Arkansas, depends on money. VOAi family reunions are smaller, more laid back, and more personal. Both are good in slightly different ways.

I agree with Valker. They're well done, but too big for my likes.

I agree Valker, every rally has its own theme. I've attended 7 of the last 8 Americade rally's in NY and even though it is the same rally, each year is a bit different.

When I typed InZane Bike Rally into a Google search it gave me links for VRCC rally's for all over Europe scheduled in 2012. Judging by he websites they are pretty passionate over there.

I noticed in one post that Arkansas is really supporting/promoting the 2012 InZane rally their hosting next year which is great! Having the bikers there will bring in a lot of tourist dollars. Enclosed below is an extract of a post made commenting on the support being received.

"the Sept/Oct issue of RoadRunner magazine, on page 47 there's a half-page ad for the State of Arkansas promoting Arkansas as a great place to ride...The picture shows six bikes riding from right to left...the lead bike, which is the biggest in the picture, is a black Valk I/S...I thought that was pretty cool, seeing how they could have used any bike..."

I have been to two of them, (I have only owned my Valk for 3 years)

Like others have said, they are extremely well run, lots of activities for you to take part in, or you can set around and bench race if you want, it is up to you. For some the ride to get there is the fun part, to others, the rides once there is the fun part.

They are larger than the VOI runs, I think there were +300 Valkyries at the ones I went to. The people seem the same at all the Valkyrie runs that I have been to, down to earth, hard working people with a common thread, the Valkyrie.

I think you have to attend one to find out for yourself whether you like it or not. There are a lot of people that are members of both the VOIA and the VRCC. From what I have heard there was a little animosity between the groups years ago, but it seems to have gone away, as I have never heard anyone from either group trying to play one up over the other.

I have been to VOAi rallies in King of Prussia PA, Montrose Co, Sweetwater Tn, Eureka Springs Ark
Marlinton WV, LaCrosse WI and Maggie Valley NC

The first VRCC event I went to was at Johnson CIty Tn which was Dragons Over the SMokies, then a few more Inzanes there and one in Bellaire Michigan  I am the NY rep for both clubs

At each VRCC event there are hundreds of folks from around the country and Canada which is normal because the VRCC is a bigger club these days.

Thats not to say its better just bigger   sometimes I like that and sometimes its a bit much

I had more fun at Maggie this past year than during any of the other rallies, but this I attribute to the outstanding roads we took each day, the pace which was not warp 9, and the comraderie among the group who goes each year   I had great conversation (lie telling) and enjoyed the tech sessions on Karstens bike and the other bike that had a starting issue

Smokinjoe brought a bunch of his friends over the weekend, some of whom I had met and some of whom I now have the pleasure of having met

If you can go to Inzane do it
If you can come to Keystone do it also

This June I will be riding from NY to Keystone and continuing to the west coast, With any luck
Valker and some folks from Montana Idaho and Oregon will be joining me on the later part of the trip  I welcome the chance to ride out with anyone

I dont plan on Americade this year, mostly because there is no new bike I want to ride for free in the manufacturers rides  Last year I rode the bmw 6 cyl and that was terrific

Its looks as though I have to do some serious planning for 2012 and attend each of these events.

Thanks for all of the comments guys.
