had to work, and we got a couple inches of snow last night!!  could probably still do it, wouldn't be the smartest thing i've ever done.....

i'm sure some yahoo from down south will rub our noses in it, then i'll have to remind him that they've got more "bug" weather then we do!!

Allowe me to do the first rub.  No bugs today though.  It was 33 and sunny, when I left and 45 when I got home 85 miles later.  Went to a new years lunch with these guys....  Hoser  cool

We had a skiff of snow on Friday night/Saturday morning.  Sun came out and the white stuff went away at least on the roads.   Yeah, got in a 100 miler this afternoon.  Temps at 1400 when I left  were around 43, it was around 41 when I got home at 1600.  Clouds were moving in, from next storm, as I got home.   Last winter, at this time,  we had 6-10" of white on the ground, roads were crappy, this year brown ground and clear roads.

Didn't get the old lady over 75 as most of the roads I was riding were 55 mph ones.  No LEO's out, only saw 4 bikes stopped at a cafe about 20 miles from home.

Got in right at 100.0 miles today. Not the best miles for Jan. 1, but certainly acceptable. I'm hoping to put four times last year's mileage on the Valk this year.

 Grin Yep.
Rode the Iron Maiden on the last day of 2011 and again on the first day of 2012.
I've never been able to do that in RI before. Hope it's a sign of an easy winter.

Took Valk Deux out again on New Years day. Both the guys I usually ride with wimped out but I still had a great ride. Lots of state troopers and local cops put though. Saw several other bikes in Jackson, TN. The weather was in the 40's with fairly heavy winds.

I could have ridden, but there was so much salt on the roads I was just too lazy to wash the bike afterward. Of course later in the day the temp. dropped and we got 2" of snow so I am probably done riding until Spring.

The weather was in the low 70's, but I opted to put Kury intake-spark plug covers on my gal.  I'll ride tomorrow with the guys to breakfast, about 100 miles.  Cheesy
