Yeah, that was a gutsy move by that rider. It looked like he was some kind of cop trying to stop traffic so an ambulance could get to a crash site. I would think they would position the bike so that it faced forward with emergency lights flashing to warn traffic AND step away from the bike just in case....of course the problem we deal with every day is the inattentive driver and you can't be too careful since we are invisible on the road.

Yes to the inattentive driver. That is the I haven't been riding since 12/12/11 and won't be until 3/2012 or later.  Just love those drivers.
