Hi everyone:  I've been a Valk owner now for about 18 months.  I run a 97 standard.

I've  been considering getting forward controls for my bike and there is a thread some time back about the Cajun cycle setup. I have floorboards mounted on the horizontal bar of my engine guards but I still find my legs are "knees up" when I use them.  I can't move them any farther forward.  I stand 6' tall so think I could probably manage forward controls with a few more inches of stretch. At present I also have installed a Rattlebars kickshifter and peg lowering kit, but I'm not that wild about the kickshifter.  If I go with the Cajun set, I'll have a kickshifter for sale.

My questions:  Does anyone have an experience with the Cajun cycle gear?  Do you like it, is it worth it, is it hard to install?  Are there any other companies out there with this kind of set up for the Valk?  Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

When I bought my '97 Tourer the dealer installed pegs for me. They installed them on the vertical engine guard by the timing belt cover, at the outter most point. I am 6.0' tall and they are in a location that is comfortable for me to rest my feet on or prop my heels on top of. Although sometimes I will let the back of my legs touch the valve cover, but not for very long.
