I 'm trying to find a lift or bike stand so that I can get my Valk to sit up straight, so I can work on her. It seems like all the traditional bike lifts don't work.

Harry, Sam's Club sells a lift that works great with the Valk.  It even has a picture of a red and white valk on the box.  Price is just a bit over $100.00.  Most of our Daytona Valkers use that lift and have no absolutely no problems with it.

Ride safe,

Sears also has a good lift that is frequently on sale for $99.00.
If you have an Interstate you need an adapter to offset the balance. Here are some links to lifts and adapters:

The Sams Club lift works great. One of the two I have has begun to leak a little after a few years of constant use. Put some good (Grade 5 or better) bolts in the pivot points. never had a failure but heard of a few and it only cost 5 dollars per jack to upgrade and 10 minutes for some cheap insurance. BR

I bought a Black Jack (1,500 lb lift) from Wal Mart last summer after comparing it to the Sears one.  I liked the Wal-Mart one better because it came with an adapter to help it fit under any type of bike.

I rode a '97 Shadow Spirit then and the Sears one just would not fit it without some blocks and modifications.  The Black Jack fit it perfectly.  I have to change the configuration to fit the Valk, but the change takes me about 1 minute to switch from Shadow Spirit mode to Valk mode.  The lift cost me $89 at WalMart.  It may be the same one that others mentioned from Sam's Club.

I'm very pleased with it.

The lift may well be the least expensive way to deal with a need to get bike upright or wheel(s) off ground if you are in your garage but, if you're out on the road, you're sunk-as was I this last weekend. I had no way to get bike up to deal with a flat. The centerstand by Rivco may well be close to outrageously expensive at $300 but it will be with your bike where-ever you go.

...that way I am back on the road in 5 minutes. Don't need to get the tire off the gound that way.
