Differences in model years?

I was wondering if anyone new what the differences were in the 2001+ model years from the 2000 and below model years.  A lot of the accessories and other after market goodies say they are for a Valkyrie up to 2000.  This will affect my decision on what model year to buy.

Hey guys you also need to watch when buying because I have seen 2001 models advertised as tourer models and to my knowledge the standard was all that was produced in 01 correct me if I am wrong but How can people get an accurate price on a standard with hard bags and windshield? NADA does show that much of a difference.

The only differences in year to year...serial number and paint colors.

Close Tom; but not quite. Checkout the website mentioned above. As far as I knew, the only difference was front wheel bearings and the carbs on the '97, and the addition of the Y2K seat.
