Before the message boards changed, I recall a post (I believe last month) on tips for cleaning and polishing wheels.  Any reposts on tips would be great.

I among others find that the Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish works great on anything on the bike or car and the wheels too.  Another good product I have found is the BOM product which does not use conventional polish but a new way of cleaning and polishing without leaving any residue behind which can attract dirt.  Their link is on our links page so check that out too.  Hope that helps you.

Love the parrot picture too, its great!

I use the Honda Spray, and it works great, would recommend it to you.

Thanks for the info, but I recall the previous posts included polishing the wheels with fine grit sandpaper / emery cloth.

Looking for more info as I am willing to expend the elbow grease to shine up the rims.

If your wanting to go the tough route and want great results take the wheels off and put them on a Milk crate. Start out using some 400 (or 320 if you have some pitting) and keep moving up to 1000 or 1200 wet sanding the entire time with the  cut of the wheel(machine marks) after you have worked it down to the 1000 get some Mothers Aluminum polish and work them over. They will look like they have been chromed. Its an all day job but nice job for a rainy day. BR
