I just installed a new set of Dunlop Elites..  My first impressions are very positive...  much quieter than the old Dunlops...  Handling is very predictable..  the old tires seemed to wander a bit and the bike wanted to come up while in the middle of a curve.. the new Dunlops are very stable, hold a line well and are smooth..             I havent tried any other tires..so I cant compare..    just my 2 cents that the new Elites seem to be very good tires..           John

I have a Valk I/S and I have put 5m on the same tires and found them to be good. Iam still playing with psi and have found that 42 rear 38 front for me is close to right.

Have put 8k on a set of Elites and have nothing but good things to say about them.  Seems as though Dunlop may have solved the dilemma of their OEM tires.  Sure could not get 8k out of those and it appears that there is a substantial amount of wear yet to go.

Glad to hear you are getting some good miles out of your Dunlops..  at 8000 my OEM lops were toast..        JH

After going through 4 sets of the original Dunlops, I must say that the Elites were a refreshing change for the better.  A plusher, more predictable ride.  I tried a friend's Valk with the Avons, which were also a great ride, but he went through two sets of them trying to get rid of the "Avon Wobble", with no success.  Not wanting to go through that hassle, I went with the Elites and haven't been sorry. I only hope I can get the tire mileage that the Avon folks have been talking about.......
