The image would seem to be floating about arms length from you and you would still be able to see your surroundings. Text or drawings etc would just seem to float in your field of view. Much like a HUD on a jet fighter. Very interesting technology I thought. I knew this stuff was in experimental stages but had no idea it was so close to being in consumer products. Think of the military, industrial, ... applications for this. For driving it could be moving map displays, etc. May be very handy.
