It's really hard to beat the Kuryakyn gear. I love mine, and so does nearly everyone that I know.

KC,

What model of Kuryakyn Pegs do you have?

The 4050's ?  Do you have a problem with them scraping ?

Thanks,

Tim

I have the 4052's with the arm extensions.  I have them coming up straight in front of the engine guard.  It is not straight leg, but the higher bent leg postion I have found to be more comfortable.  They ran me 160 bucks.  Worth every penny and they fold inwards when not in use.

I recently ordered Kuryaken pegs from Hal at Hondaline, model KUR-7976, that clamp on to the support tube under the engine guards.  Haven't gotten them yet, but hope they do the trick.  I don't like the stiff legged, spreadeagle posture.  I'll post with a review when I get them.

Ride Safe.

Sorry about the slow response, I think that I have the 4966, I know that it is a 66, they mount to the front curved bar of the engine guard. They still drag some when you get into some good corners. Not as bad as the ones that mount on the lower bars.
