Just got back from the Honda Hoot in Knoxville. It was a good time. I saw a few Valks, what I was suprised with was the amount of VTX's, there were a ton of them both 1300 & 1800 models. Maybe Honda does know what they are doing as far as selling bikes. I was led to believe the VTX did not sell that well, but one of the HRCA guys told me they were selling like crazy.

HRCA had a Rune at the Demo rides and they raffled off 18 demo rides. If you were a member you could put your name in the hat, I did and my name was drawn out 25th. I was an alternate and they told me to show up and if one of the winners didn't I could have the ride. I didn't want to ride it that bad, so my son and I headed for Deals Gap on Sat morning when they had the rides.
We had a blast and the Valk Handled like a dream. We covered about 400 miles on Sat alone, great riding around Knoxville.

Deals Gap is one of the most incredible roads that I have had the pleasure to ride. And only once in some 800,000+ miles. Too bad that it is 4,000 to 4,500 miles from me, most direct route.
