I have nothing to do with Wix filter nor do I know the representative mentioned in this thread. I do attend professional drag racing and NASCAR events and I have seen Wix filter products used widely in racing vehicles.

Now, I don't know what conclusion, if any, can be drawn from this but I don't think that NASCAR engine builders would risk their engines worth tens of thousands of dollars to a shoddy filter.

Great point also! In fact Wix has just developed  a cabin air filter with Joe Gibbs Racing to clean the carbon monoxide in the race. They are about to make it available to all race teams.
