I have a 99 Valk Interstate and would like to hook a CD or MP3 player to the auxilliary of the radio system. Can anyone tell me how or where the connection is made. I would like to simply plug in a 1/8 " stereo miniplug if possible.
thanks

There is a female 1/8" plug under the right side cover of your bike.  Simply plug in your CD player or MP3 player, (you can come out of the headphone jack of your player if you do not have an "Line out jack on your player) and switch your radio to "AUX" and you should be playing tunes through your system.  On my minidisk player I bought a double male chord and pluged one end into the headphone jack and the other end into the Aux plug of the radio and switched to "AUX" and it works great.  Hope this helps.

This is something that I hope to need to checkout sometime soon. I plan to get an MP3 player someday. Greetings all.

Recently purchased a mini disk player sony NF520D- connected a male to  male plug under the seat and am able to listen to 5 hrs of music per mini disk. The unit is only 3x3x1 and has a remote but I found that with 55 hrs of play time per 1 aaa baterry it realy doesn't matter if i use the remote or not. Unit has great shock control and I mounted it in a small leather bag that holds 5 extra disks and spare batteries. I do use a computer to transfer cd's I have at home and the process takes about 15 minutes for a 5 hr transfer.Takes up hardly any room at all
