hello im new to both valkyries and the forum, just bought a 99 valk interstate with 6400 miles. the original dunlops were shot, and i have replaced them with avon venoms, just today. .question is do i run them at the recommended pressures in the owners manual or is there an alternative?  thought id ask those who have ridden on these tires before i  ruin them with to much or too little!.thanks! john in ohio

Mine is also a '99 I/S with 45K miles.  Love the Avons, run 40/42.

P.S.  Lived in Dayton in the early 60's...NCR was making mechanical cash registers.

..I didn't look at your location before. I was born in Dayton in 54 and lived in Vandalia until about '67. I moved to Texas then. I was just in Vandalia last year in March to bury my grandmother there. I lived on Brown School Road, went to Demmit Elementary and Morton Jr. High.
