I'll be there guys. Looking forward to meeting some of you. I just live about two hours away. I ride that area about once a month during warmer weather.

Go to http://www.voaridein.com and click on the 6th Annual Gathering of the Valks link and it will take you to pages with all the information as well as the registration form. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. If you have been to Helen I don't need to say anything further. If you have never been, you really need to come visit. All top quality roads ranging from fall off the side of the mountain to slow, lazy lakefront cruising. On Saturday, we will have escorted rides covering the full range, so don't be worried that we won't have a ride for you.

Will there be any Valkyrie stuff for sale at the Helen Gathering? Swap meet? Vendors? I might be needing something I don't know about. Thanks

The Helen event is a small, time compressed event focused on social activities and some fantastic riding. With the exception of one year where we had Nuthing Flat (tire guy); there have never been any vendors at the May Gathering of the Valks. I know people enjoy 'shopping'; but the effort simply is not worth it. All the Helen information at http://www.voaridein.com

The dates for the Helen event are May 20-22. Again, the Best Western is our host but I checked available rooms on Friday and they are full. HOWEVER - their sister property, the Super 8 has rooms at the same price, $55.00 per night. Check out our website, http://www.voaridein.com for info. See ya...Tom

How many might be preregistered, and will there be a list of riders posted on the web site or anywhere? Also, does this gathering include other Valkyrie clubs, nonVOAI members etc.?? Like I said, just wondering...

As far as I know, Dave's gathering is always open to any and all who want to attend. VOA members get a break in cost, of course since the event is sponsored by the VOA, but no affiliation is necessary to come enjoy the event.
Come on over - you'll be glad you did! :-)

not (to my knowledge) members of VOAi who will be there. I expect to see lots of Valks, lots of Wings, some Hardleys, some other Hondas, possibly a Kawi or two and maybe even a getto bike (Yo Mamas) or two. Sometimes we have seen a BossHoss or two.
This is all about good people who love scooters and really ride them, who have come to know each other through that shared passion, and who can't think of a better way to spend a weekend than with like-minded folks in a beautiful mountain paradise for motorcycling. Nobody who is a friendly, enthusiastic scooter-holic will be or feel unwelcome.
Hell, they're even letting me come in my Ford Exploder!
