The 7th sounds good, abunch of bikes should hopefully be there towards evening but we can do it in the morning too. Last year the past Pres, Flying Scott did his in the morning at his former church.   He has now retired and living the easy life out in New Mexico.

I also am watching the boards more closely again to make sure things stay peaceful as can be for a motorcycle board.
The old saying still goes and goes on here as well, If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.    I prefer to keep people around but we need to work at getting along and not slamming people.

Who was your contact again near Grand Junction?  Send me a PM with his info.

Thanks!  TAZ

"............I'll be there!"

I'll be leaving the Bay Area on the 4th and I should be there before noon on the 6th. I plan on spending one night in either Eureka or Ely (on highway 50 in Nevada) and possibly one night in Grand Junction.

I'm bringing a friend so if we need to register for anything ahead of time and shoot someone some $$$ let me know.

Oh what the heck, it's not as if this would be the first time I crashed a party

Everyone,

The Ride-In registration site is http://www.2wheeltec.com/voaridein.html  The cost is $5 per bike to cover the printing of maps and self guided ride info.  We still don't have a link from the main page, I think TAZ is working on it.

Please register, so TAZ knows how many packets to print up.

I'll be leaving Georgia the 1st  or 2nd of July.  If gas prices keep going up, I'll have to mortgage my house first!  It just cost me almost ten bucks to fill my bike's gas tank!  Anyway, that's another thread.

Two weeks on the road staying at motels every night will get expensive so I may have to do some camping.  I may have to put the bike in the back of my truck and pull my camper out there.  I was really looking forward to riding, though.  One way or another,
I will be in Colorado in July.  It is one of the prettiest states I've ever been to.

ourride2

hey, i'm doing a long ministry trip in may. 9 days. i have looked into the koa cabins. they appear very clean, heated, air cond. and have 4 beds. all you need is bedding or a sleeping bag.

this changes everything ! $25 to $35.00 a night for two people. i'll let you know how it went when i get back, but it sure looks like a good way to economize.
