Just to say Hello, just bought a 2000 Valk Standard a week ago Tuesday. Have enjoyed every mile of the over thousand miles that I have rode it so far. Am looking forward to riding it many more. I previously rode a '78 Wing, which I'm trying to sell right now as I don't need 2 bikes. If I have some questions, I'll do some asking 'round here. Glad to meet some more Valk riders. madjack.

Welcome to the family and our site. We are quite a group around here. Congratulations on getting one of the most fun bikes ever made!:D

Congratulations on the new bike.  I know I couldn't be happier with mine.  You're in with a good group of riders on this site.  Those old Goldwings are pretty special bikes.  They were in a way the father of the Valkyrie before they turned into touring machines.  I hope it gets a good home if you really decide to sell it.

A '78 Wing? one of the last of the GL 1000's. I had a '76, my 1st of my 4 Wings, before I got a Valkyrie. I've put on about 132,000 miles on my 2 Valkyries.

Welcome MadJack.

This is a great group of people... Very helpful and very knowledgeable.  I've learned allot in a very short time.

The best part is that we all share a passion for Valkyries.

It sure makes me feel better knowing that I'm not the only one that feels that way about my bike.

Good luck with your new toy and ride safe.
