Just joined the group

Greetings. I just bought a 1999 interstate, after admiring a friends for years. I sold my 95 Wing here in FL then flew to Dallas to pick up the Valk. What a fun trip back! The bike and I got to know each other well, although I'm still learning about the audio and CB system. I don't miss the wing a bit, and do enjoy the power and performance. For all the Wisconsin folks, big highlight of the trip was a stop in Kiln, Mississippi at Bret Favre's family's restauarnt. Good food and a good time. Put a 740 miles on the bike in one day, it just felt wonderful. It is best bike I've ever had the pleaseure to ride.  More than I ever expected.

'99 Interstate; nice choice. It was the 1st year of the I/S, but they only made them for 3. I don't know of any difference in them other than color.
I had a Green/Gray '99, now have a Blue/Silver '00

Our southeastern get together is again being held in Helen, GA this coming weekend, May 20-22.  We'd love to have you join us.  Check out the website, http://www.voaridein.com for additional info.  The Best Western is full but their sister property is about 100 yds. down the street and they also give our group a special rate of $55.00 per night.  We'll have some great rides and a big dinner on Saturday night.  Hope you can make it....Tom
