Hi Folks:
I have a 99 valk f6. I want airhorns that mount under the bike. Any suggestions on the horns of choice from the group?
Best,
Howard

Personally, I like the electric horns from BigBF. Look at his dual or quad set up before you buy. http://www.bigbf.com

I picked up a set from Autozone, $30. Use the relay that comes with it. There nothing to look at but under the bike who cares.

I just tried Autozone. After waiting 1/2 an hour for my turn with the help, they needed to know year, make, model... I tried to explain to him I wasn't replacing a stock horn, I just wanted a really loud car or truck horn that had the relay built in. He couldn't help me if he couldn't pull it up on his computer.

LD and I used to buy ours from Discount Auto Parts, but when I went to replace my compressor last month I found out that none of them carry air horns anymore. I went on-line to WOLO and bought the compressor. Pretty decent priced, IMHO.

1) haven't seen any electric horns that come with a relay, you would need to pick one up. 2) If electric is the way you go, most have on the package how many DB they are. Look for the most, and you want to look for a high and a low note horn. 3) Most of the chain Auto Parts have the air horns, if one doesn't have them try a different one. I found some at "Murry's"

I have the Big BF 4 horn kit. It will cost more than getting them seperate from autoparts store, but they are ready to install. It is a complete kit with relay and mounting bracket. 2 high pitch and 2 low pitch and it sounds like a train. I love mine. To me worth the money.

Got two air horns with compressor. Mouted it all at back wheel betweeen tire and saddle bag. Its a I/S. Fastened it all to the rail there that mounts teh saddle gags to. Worked out good and isn't seen. This way i can still jack up the bike. Horns on the btm. you can't.
