good Valkyrie Mechanic in Pacific NW

I would like to know the name of an individual, or a dealership preferrably in the Portland, Oregon area  that is highly skilled in servicing Valkyries, especially in the area of tune-ups and carburator synchronization.

The dealership I purchased my 2001 Valkyrie from admids that they do not have much experience with them. Although it runs OK, I feel that mine doesn't have as much power as it originally did when brand new. I've also had a few incidences of rough running. Some of the problem I've corrected myself, but it want to optimize performance. Any suggestions?

i have yet to see a valk that needed a carb sync. or a valve adjustment. thats about all you can do to them anyway.

if you have lost some power, did you change the pipes ? if not what is happening is you are getting used to the power and it seems like you need more. don't worry about it. if it starts good and runs smooth you don't have a problem.

The carb sync, & valve adjustments are really quite easy to do. I do them myself, but if you don't want to do that, you could contact Wingman's. Wingman's is the honda dealer right near the airport. Tim the owner is a great guy, if you do go see, him, tell him that I said "Hi".
You might also try contacting Rooper, he lives in the Portland area, and might know of some others who are good.
