Come to Helen GA This Weekend!!!!

We have already had 50+ bikes registered representing more than 80 people for this weekend in Helen.  The event is open to all riders and you do not have to be a VOA member to participate (although you can expect to have your arm twisted to join).  The Best Western is sold out but you might check to make sure some of the non-m/c people didn't cancel their rooms.  If there is are no rooms, they will connect you to the Super 8 a block away who will honor the same low, low rates!

Toolman Tom has been doing his thing and has amassed a treasure chest of door prizes ranging from gift certificates, touring maps, sunglasses, phone cards, Honda coolant, m/c books, etc.

We have a private dining room for the group AUCE dinner on Saturday night at the Unicoi Lodge and have 72 people signed up for the dinner.  If you didn't send me an advance registration or let me know you were coming and still want to attend the dinner; please give my cell phone a call at 904-415-6928 and leave me a message with your name and number of tickets wanted as I have to call in a final count early Saturday morning so they can make sure they have the room set up properly.

Not to jinx anything, but after a chance of afternoon thunderstorms on Friday; they are calling for only a 10% chance of rain for the rest of the weekend.  How nice it will be to have our police escorted ride on Saturday evening without rain!

Yep, looks like 70% chance of rain in Atlanta area for Friday, so for those riding up Friday, put on those Frogg Toggs.  CYA there.  I wish I had put my new tires on now...

Bob,  The chance of rain has now dropped to only 60%.  That means there is a 40% it won't rain.  No Problem!!!!  See you there.

I heard 60% from one weather man and 80% from another, so I just took the average.  Acutally, there is a 100% chance of rain somewhere.  Let's just hope its not wherever we are.
