Can anyone tell me-if I change the stock air filter of my 99 Valk to a KN air filter, are there other adjustments that I must do  - jetting etc? and..... what will it do for the performance of the bike?

thanks
david

I put the K&N filter in mine, with the pre-filter, on both of my Interstates. I didn't have to adjust the carbs at all. I can't remember if there was any increase in the gas mileage.

Just passed the 6000 mark on my K & N didn't have any adjustments done. Filter did need cleaning
Think I'll check her at 4K next time but I do ride on some gravel roads.
