Well  Montrose is coming up in just over a month now and is going to be a great time for riding and visiting with New and old Family Members again.  We got a great group going and therefore promises to be fun, fun, fun.

We will have group rides, prizes, raffles and lunch on top of the Grand Mesa.  Glen Davis Honda will be your place for buying Valkyrie items and getting top notch service as always.  Plenty of stores in town and along the way to buy things from the area.  Good food is abundent throughout the area for your dining needs.  Nightly get togethers is a tradition.  Bike Blessing by the Grand Junction CMA on Friday night.  Waterwater rafting in the refreshing Colorado river on Friday, 2.5 hr trip and great ride there and back.

We plan this simple so you can do what you want and join the club whenever you wish, after all this is your vacation time.  Small registration fee for printing out the ride package.  We will have t-shirts on display and you can purchase or mail in later to receive yours by mail, therefore the club saves on shipping and handling of these going out there, and therefore the club saves.

So look foward to seeing everyone out in Montrose and bring a friend along.

Thanks!  The VOAI

Well I don't know about you guys but I and alot others are really excited about MOntrose.   I talked to Davis Honda and they are preparing for us as well.   I got other things cooking as well so everything is going along as planned.

I love that area and being from the flat lands of Illinois this is always  a huge treat to be out in twisties land.  So saddle up the palomino and ride with the breeze as we take on the mighty Rockie Mountains and some of the best sites out in the South West of Colorado and beyond.

Cya There for Fun and Friendship as we celebrate our Family Reunion in MOntrose.

Darrell

I'll be leaving Indiana on the morning of the 2nd and taking 74 to 80. and would love the company as I will be alone.
Taz had mentioned he might also be leaving on the 2nd.
I can meet up with you at the iowa illinois border area.
Just tell me where is a good spot on 80 to meet.

This is going to be one great event!

Can't stand it any longer.  Only one month to gone until Colorado.

Anyone else going from the South?  I'll be leaving Dallas on Saturday the 2nd spending a couple of days around Durango before ariving in Montrose on the 5th.

When is everyone else getting there?  Sorry for all the questions but I am ready to go.  It's been a tuff year at work and with the family and I need a break.  I have traveled 40 of the lower 48 with my riding partner of 6 years and he gave it up this year and doesn't ride anymore so this will be my first long trip by myself.  Wife used up all her vacation with the new grandchild.  I am kind of looking forward to a trip by myself but looking forward to some group riding when I get there.

Anyway...I'm ready!  Just hope it's cooler there than here.:explode:

I think there is acouple people that I know of coming from Texas so post a new message asking for people going from Texas or east of there and just west of there.  I know some coming from LA.  too so you might be able to meet up with them too.  I know there is a bigger group coming from florida, not sure when their leaving and going to be in your parts but with new message you might get some feedback from them too.

Ride safely and look forward to meeting you in Montrose!
