i assume you are talking about slime, or the compressed sealants made for cars.

i have never used it, but was told by my local honda stealer that if i did, they would sell me a new tire, but would not repair the old one, and i would have to pull the wheel and clean up the mess before they would touch it.

for an emergency repair you are much better with a plug and some sort of air supply, CO2 etc.

My bike is at the Stamford Honda dealer for a spline lube and they will put in the ride on for me
According to the company
It will not void warranty It will help balance the tires. It will self seal punctures up to 1/8 inch (you must remove the nail first) and helps the tires run cooler.  It is cheaper than a tire 19 oz for the front and rear tire and you are good to go.

I will let you know how she rides.

Now time for my rant

They have bike since Tue am. I had to make the appt a month ago. I had local kawasaki dealer do my inspection 2 weeks ago before americaid. 430pm today get a call from service manager Hey dude the rear metz is toast  its all cupped. To overnite tire and install is 240 (plus tax?) ouch. Too far to look got to take his word. I SO wiSH I had bought that coopeerzeon2xs about now.
SO
At 7000 miles will metzler kick in for cupped tire with or without cracks?  Tire was religiously maintained at 42 lbs at ALL TIMES.

anyone have experience with Metzler?

evan
check our sponsor on 1st page Hondaline has them for 160?

240 plus tax is much better than I did on my new 880 today.

Been using it for over a year.  Very satisfied with the results.  I change my own tires, so dealer is not a problem for me.  I haven't had to change a tire since I put it in. Mfr. claims it washes out with water.  It is not SLIME!

only in an emergency. i got a nail in arkansas last year. used tire sealer and a plug. it. started cupping bad. metz would not honor the warrenty only 3000 miles. claimed it was road hazzard. have the same front tire from metx. it is starting to cup as did the back. only difference is not sealer and maintained 38-41 psi. wrote metz back not response. must be a bad mix on the tires for that year. changing back to a dunlop asap. what was the car tire that fit the back sound interesting. i'll have my e-mail register asap.
