Dear VOAI Members,

Your New VOAI Board is Excited about working very closely with you and your family in continuing on the great tradition of the past board members and hoping to take it to the next higher level of satisfaction.  We look forward to serving you as best we can and hope to make strides in forming new local Chapters in your region of the country.  By having strong and active regional chapters we can bring more local ride-ins to your neck of the woods to meet up and enjoy some great riding with other club members.  By you becoming more active in the club and volunteering to set up rides in your area we can all benefit and realize what our VOAI Family is all about, friendship and Great Riding times together.  We will help support you and your local Chapters in anyway possible to make it a fun time for all.  Your input is valuable to us so please let us know any ideas, concerns you might have.  We all volunteer our time to the club and have been members of this Great VOAI club for many years, most since it began back in 1998 so we are not strangers here.

Thank you and Thanks for being members of the VOAI FAMILY.

Glad to say I know personally and have the greatest admiration for three of youse guys, and I'm looking forward to getting to know Dan and John, whose postings on the board have led me to hold them in the highest respect, in the same way.

They say that the quality of the leadership is the surest measure of the mettle of an organization.  That being so, we have a strictly "heavy mettle" group here!

Soon, Bros, in Montrose!

I meant Dan and Paul.  I typed that as I was flipping back and forth bidding on some concert tickets for my teenage daughter on eBay, and I wasn't paying very close attention to my typing.

Plus, I am an increasingly doddering codger, so that any criticism of me will be treated as elder abuse under Florida law.

;) ;) ;)

Thanks for the comments, your correct and when you meet Dan in Montrose you will love him and his wife Davey on her trike.  Paul won't be able to make Montrose this year but he held a ride for the VOAI at Americade and I understand it was great time for sure.  He is a huge supporter of the VOAI like the rest of us and is a perfect fit for the club along with Dave Lott who has been there all the way.   We all look forward to serving you and making this club the best hands down.  We are all excited and going to do what ever it takes to make the Family of the VOAI  the best Club going.  We got the members to do that and that is what makes us so proud, we have Singles, Dad's, Mom's, Kid's and Lifetimers, one big Happy Bunch!   It don't get no better than that!!!

Thanks for the kind words Jonathan! I really think that, under Taz's leadership, this group is really starting to turn around, and I am proud to be part of the process!!

BTW I will take this opportunity to announce that the following people have agreed to be State directors:

Evan (Ossiningvalkkyrie) in New York
John (JohnXII) in Mass

Thanks guys for stepping up!! Look for them to announce rides and other get togethers in their areas.

If anyone in the Eastern Region would like to help out their states, or have any concerns or questions, please let me know, first come first served so don't delay ;-). You can reach me thorugh the Current Board link on the main page.

thanks so much for stepping forward to support your VOAi!  As a 6 or 7 year "servee" myself (FL. State Director, Eastern Vice Prez, and finally Exec. VP) I can tell you that there's joy involved in keeping this site open to those that share our love of the Valkyrie.  Although it's not often voiced by our members, they do appreciate the work all our volunteers donate to the cause and are usually open to lending a helping hand if someone will but ask.

Although I'm not as active on the boards this past year due to LD's terminal illness, I still visit on a "catch as can" basis and I enjoy reading the many posts from my VOA friends - both old and new.

Keep up the good work!   After all, SOMEONE needs to keep Tazzy and Hurricane Jonathan out of trouble!!!   Cheesy

Hugs,
RH

Hey RH!

Good to see ya hanging around and always a pleasure for sure!  Hope LD is doing alot better these days too and for a bright future, God Helping.

For those that don't know RH she is our Queen Vixen and has been a HUGE HELP to the VOAI over the years.  She was handsdown the best EXEC. VP we ever had and helped promote the club with vendors, bike rallies in Florida and many, many other wonderful things.  She was the backbone of the club for a long time and I only hope I and the other new board members can be as good.  I think our new people are almost there and that is what excites me, our club is growing, becoming more active again and with our Regional VP starting to take some pride in helping promote our club and being alot more active it will improve more and more.  We are just getting going and looking forward to some fun and exciting times here at the VOAI and people like RH are  a big part of the reason we strive to do the best we can and keep making improvements so our entire VOAI Family can share in the fun and future of our club.

Thanks RH for your past work at the VOAI and come around often, we love ya baby!!

And that Lead Dog of yours.  You guys are a HUGE part of the open, friendly, amiable ambience this group has always had, and, don't forget, you two and the rest of the Daytona/NSB gang and Large Richard and Bubba were the reason I couldn't wait to join.  The rest of the club may think that's cause for blame, rather than celebration -- i.e., letting me in -- but I'm still celebrating all of you.

Please find the time to stay in close touch with us who love you.

RH, nice to hear an update from you. Nice to hear that LD is doing OK, I hope that he is well on the mend. I trust soon he  will be riding like the LD of the past that we all love and appreciate.
Here's looking forward to seeing the two of you again soon.
The Lord be with both of you. 'KC'

How's my old buds doing?  It's good to "talk" with you guys again!

LD isn't on wheels yet; not real sure he will be any time in the future.  But you never know........it's hard to keep these old Lead Dawgs down, doncha know!  ;-)

The Daytona folks (along with the Scarlett Buzzard) are taking good care of LD and I, especially Mo and Frank and Mr and Miz Wiz.  Thank the Lord for such close friends/family members!!

You guys/gals hang in there and for those that are going to Montrose - PLEASE TRAVEL SAFE - so I can continue to enjoy your posts.

Love to all,
RH

P.S.   VIXENs LUV SHFTR!!
