Rodeo, sry I wasnt talking about the normal run of the mill ear bud

Sony Fontopia

These little things fit right in the ear canal.  VERY comfortable and the sound quality is just astounding.

Since they go inside your ear canal it is a breeze to put on and pull off your helmet with them on.

Just installed satellite radio (Sirius) on my bike.  Now I can listen to Radio Margaritaville or a hundred other channels all the way to Colorado.  I had to add an amplifier ($20 at Radio Shack) to boost the sound.  Works great with a good set of ear phones.  I will try to add speakers later on.  I can also quickly move the system to my automobile if I have to cage it.

I bought the Sportster that comes with a separate docking station.  I mounted the docking station on a galvanized plate which is attached to the handle bars with rubber coated metal clamps.  There is another unit which would be better for this application and it is 2/3 the price.  It is a single unit with an integral docking station and a nice stand that could be easily clamped to the handle bars.  The magnetic antenna can sit on top of the clutch oil reservoir or on the gas tank.

I am sure someone has some handlebar ball mounts to hold different devices, but I can't seem to find any.  Bass Pro Shop has some mounting hardware for fishfinders, etc., but are all made to mount on flat surfaces.  They can be modified to work, thought.

Well I finally registered, since now I'm the proud owner of a Valkyrie.

Funny you should mention the size differences.

Yesterday we went for a little ride to get a bite to eat.

We agreed on a place that happened to have bike night.

The IS does not seem as big as it is, until you park next other normal sized bikes.

Then it is quite impressive

Being the IS is black, and me being 6'7'' 350 at a distance things look "normal".

Parked next to the others and you can really tell the difference.

This is my first bagger, not because I didn't want one, but rather I couldn't fit on one.

The Electra/Ultra Glide felt too confining, windshield was way too close.

Road Glide had the fairing a good distance for me (reminded me of the 1970's Harley Liberator Fairing, but had to spend a ton on the Bubba type controls for leg room.

Most Wings (95 and up) had no leg room (knees hit fairing)

The Valk fits much better right out of the box.

With a few mods like one from  Chet at Rattlebars, Relo Kit and an Ultimate King Bigboy seat  I'll be good to go.
