CD Minidisc Power Supply

This Modification allows you to run a CD or Minidisc player of the 12 aux. plug on the Interstate.  If your device uses 12v input, you will not need to build the converter.  If you are uncomfortable doing this work yourself, get help, improper wiring could damage your CD or Minidisc.

Parts:

Went to Radio shack and bought:

2 - 470 micro farad - 25 v Electrolytic capacitors (similar value capacitors can be substituted),

1 - 104 ESM ceramic capacitor (similar value capacitors can be substituted)

1 - 5 vdc Voltage regulator (other other value as require by your player).

1 - 2 prong rubberized plug (male and female)

1 - male plug (must fit female below)

1 - female plug (must fit male plug above)

1 - mini that fits Minidisc

1 - circuit board

1 - project box (holds plug)
