Great looking pictures all told!

What is that big wooden structure in the trees? It looked pretty "comfortable" and extremely rustic...

I did not have time to name and picture each picture at this time but will.  The birdhouse picture is very cool as it shows the whole picture of this very cool tree house in Crossville, TN  and is very cool in deed.   It was part of our Devils Triangle ride and was the best ride hands down from the Deals Gap ride!  Talk about adveture and fun, this was the best ride of alll.

I'm not looking for titles for everything - I've seen that treehouse pic a few times and was curious what it was typically used for. House? Hotel? Curisoity stop?

Any stories - please share! Smiley

Can't find alot of info on the treehouse except that the guy that built it lived there for a time and then someone else I believe lived there until the owners death a few years back.  Had electric but no running water in the house.  The man  was very religious and had the makings of a church on the first couple levels with a pulpit, cross and church seats built into the walls among some other things.  Could not get around to all the doors as they were blocked at points.  There was a bell in the tower you could ring.  It's not the easiest place to find being it's on the outshirts of town in the woods down the road from a winery and school.  There seems to be alot of people that visit the house.  I guess the guy had alot of time on his hands to build it over a few years and plenty of wood because he made it pretty strong bracing it all together.  His name was Horace Burgess I believe.
