You all mentioned exhaust leaks due to bad gaskets, etc.  I swapped my pipes and checked the gaskets and they looked good so I used them.  What kind of leak should I be looking for just in case?

They appear fine and noticeably different.  I appreciate your feedback.

You can usually hear a leak from the exhaust, so if it sounds ok you are in good shape.
The exhaust gaskets are hollow coper rings designed to crush fit and allow you to make a seal without a lot of torque (7 ft lb) on the bolts.
Use care,  the exhaust studs break easily probably due to heat/cool cycles.

Appreciate the feedback.  Yeah, I noticed the tightening.....made be a bit nervous as I tend to overtighten everything.  I tighthend then retighten after first ride to ensure they were snug.  It needed it.  I dont hear anything out of ordinary so I guess they seated nicely.  They looked fine when I pulled the other pipes so I decided to go ahead.

Thanks again.

I am definitely returning to stock at least for a while.  I want to order new gaskets and new bolts just in case.  What is the best place on the net for Honda Parts?

I actually was successful getting them at my local Honda dealer.  They had both.
