I have been running a Yokohama 205/55ZR16 A032R on my 1998 Valkyrie for two years now. I picked it up new on Ebay for $90 and $15 for shipping. I believe it ran about $25 to have it mounted and balanced. It took three mechanics to mount it! At least I won't have to worry about it coming off the rim if it ever goes flat! I also pumped in Ultraseal front and rear just in case.

I opted for the A032R due to its racing compound and tread design, which is very similar to Dunlop/Avon motorcyle tires. My valkyrie handles great and should give me four times the wear of Dunlops. I am also running an Avon Venom R on the front.

If you have been considering switching to a car tire take the leap...You won't reget the change. I purchased an extra rear wheel on Ebay thinking I could always swap back to my Avon rear...It has been collecting dust for two years!
