Will be meeting him and his lovely bride and andy at the rest area just north of I 84 tomorrow. (Friday)

Sorry John this means we wont be meeting up with you until we get to Lake George.

With Davey in the lead some land speed records may be in jeopardy.

Looks like you New England Valkyrie Riders are in for a real nice weekend to ride.  I hope you have a safe and great weekend of riding and make abunch of new friends.  The regional rides are always fun time for sure and good way to meet folks in your neck of the woods.

Take some good pics and look forward to seeing them.  Knowing Evan and Bonnie we will have a whole bunch of good ones for starters.  No Dairy Queen stopping now...remember who you are!

have not been able to find out yet what the big excitement is about them but some folks have.  Around here they go to Culvers now instead because of their yogurt and butter burgers.  Not being a big fast food type person I am not sure what all the excitement is all about except it keeps the doctor and blood test in business for some.

The weather cooperated !  No rain. No snow. riding weather around 50+ each day.

The leaves were beautiful.

We are all very lucky because John and his wife had a rear tire blow out and he was able to control the bike and safely stop.
He had new front and rear metzlers by about noon saturday.

There were no other incidents and we all had great fellowship and fun riding around.

Good to hear everyone had a real good  time despite the flat tire.  Glad Jonh was able to keep that monster under control and get it changed out quickly and continue the ride.

Glad to hear that it was a success! I wish I could have made it, but my wife's birthday party was a big success too! Next Year we will have to pick a different weekend so I can do both ;-)!

Let’s plan it earlier for sure.  The location worked out well and the weather was great.

Naturally the company was outstanding... Thank you Dan, Davie, Evan and Andy for helping to launch the first one.  It was great seeing all of you and I'm so looking forward to next year.  Perhaps we'll hook up during Americade, so we won't have to wait till fall.  I love that area of NY, the roads are beautiful and the people are great.

As far as the blow-out... I'm not sure if I was able to control the bike to a safe stop, or the bike controlled herself (and me).  I'm just glad it all turned out ok.

The folks at the front desk of the hotel told me that you guys called them to check on me every 1/2 hour while I was getting towed and I want you to know that I really appreciate your concern for us.  Thank you

I guess I'll have to wait until the Metzlers wear out before thinking about the "dark side" again.
