It was MINUS double digits when I left for work this morning, with a wind chill that dropped it another 20 degrees.

Ditto for Michigan.  And to think that I had my bike out for a nice ride the second week of January. What makes it worse is all the salt on the roads. The pavement looks white which means no riding until we get a few good rain storms to wash the salt away....good thing the groundhog predicted an early Spring:rolleyes:

Sorry Evan, no warm Valk. pics from Michigan right now...we need help from you guys in the south!

It's a dangerous job, but someone has to do it

This was taken Saturday just outside of Livermore on a road that leads to The Lick Observatory, mid 60's I think. The observatory was built during the horse & buggy days, a horse can only pull a certain % grade so the road is nothing but curves and switch-back. At the top is a little Mom & Pop diner called The Junction, perfect place to grab a burger and something to wet your whistle.

Spot the valkyrie stuffed in there, tucked in nice and warm under the blankies? I should be riding again in about 10 weeks.

Let me get some pics of the Valkyrie, and the Wing. It's not REALLY warm here, but much nicer than your having right now.
Hotglue, you and I will have to park our wings next to each other one of these days.
