Over Memorial Day weekend I had a boating intertube from the bed of a pick-up truck blow out of the truck and it landed right in front of me, leaving no time to react.  Long story short, I went down, I got quite a bit of road rash, but nothing is broken and the bike just got a lot of cosmetic damage.  I'm thinking of a costume paint job since the bike will be repainted any way, and was wondering if anyone knows of a good link to see some paint jobs that have been done to other Valks? Thanks

Glad you are doing OK.  Haven't seen you on the board in a while.

Yeah, keep in touch and we'll go on a dinner ride somewhere.  Let us know when your new paint job is ready.  I still think "Caribbean Sea Turquoise" with palm tree accents would look good!

I'm picking up my Valk in Memphis Friday, where it's been for the last 3 months getting a custom paintjob...I'll post some pics on here as soon as I get them done.

I quess it must be the Parrot Head in me:D  But I'll have to stick with the yellow and creme for now.  Our bikes are all soon to be "classics" so I guess I should keep the "classic" color.

When I hit my Dear in 2000 I had mine repainted..  I'm 55 and not ready to slow down yet.. Mine is a 98 standard with Cobra Pipes shortened 12 inch, Crab work and Timing work.. I had her painted Pearl Red with a full flame job..  And she fits it.. 127K on mileage and still running hard..I love to play with the Rockets and all the Custom HD's around hear...  Never mine the trailer..  That's only to go to the Grocery..
