I have not had time to check it, but how difficult is it to get to the front speakers in an I/S?  The left one plays nothing but the "sounds of silence."  The right one is fine.

Any troubleshooting tips for the audio system (radio only)?

I'll be asking about audio connections as soon as I save some more milk money and can afford something for us.

It turns out the left speaker had become disconnected.  All better now. '-)
