Hello,

I am new to this site.  I am looking to purchase a Valkyrie but I have a couple of questions.  I like the looks of the fairing on the Interstate but I would prefer to not have the hard bags on most of the time.  Can these be removed?  Easily?  Also, were there any major mechanical changes during the Valk's production run?  i.e.: Is a '97 as good as a later model?

Thanks in Advance,

First year Interstate was made is 1999, was only made for three years.
The bags and trunk come off easily but you will need to install a stop/tail light.
There were very minor changes to the basic Valkyrie from 97 to 2003.
