Hey Tazzy, FS, Valker, etc. - I got some info on the Net yesterday that y'all might be interested in.  It seems that there is a Code of Federal Regulations that states that the airlines aren't allowed to count your CPAP machine as carry-on luggage!  This means that if you're allowed a max. of two carry-on's, the "respiratory equipment" doesn't count.  If you're interested, I'll send ya the Code.

Just thought you'd wanna know in case you ever decide to carry your CPAP with ya on a flight.

See yaaaaa!

I am always getting hassled about carrying the CPAP annd a separate carry-on when I make diving trips with beaucoup gear I do not want them to beat-up, lose or steal from checked luggage.

I'll Email it from work to you tomorrow.

They suggest you always carry the machine with you since it is sensitive to jostling, etc.  Did you know there is a little sticker on the bottom of the machine that states it is medical equipment, just in case you get hassled by the airport screeners?

It was great getting a hug from ya in Bike Week!

Hugs,
RH

...you will see a need for having your CPAP in Sipapu....NOT just the elevation either. Those of you without will just have to watch with an envious grin on your faces.tongue

Thanks for the heads-up darlin' - I'll be sure to bring mine.  Maybe between me and you and Hurricane and Flying Scot and Tazzy and god knows who else, we can start a CPAP band for entertainment!!  hehehehehe

Can you get in chat yet?

Hugs, smooches,
RH  ;)

It'll be in the mail to you later this morning!

Unfortunately a certain spouse of mine is snoring so damn loud right now that I'm up cruising the boards at 2 am instead of sleeping peacefully.  Damn shame when a man snores loud enough to be heard over the CPAP AND a set of ear plugs - but he doesn't have apnea (supposedly).

I'm a cpapper also.
Now that we have "c" paps all we need are 'd' and 'g' paps and we've got a chord for the band.
Can't function w/o mine.
