Maybe once you are actually old enough to get a drivers licence and put down a few miles you will better understand the concept.
not a very nice thing to say unless it was you riding the bike but still
at the age of 50 i have had a licence since the age of 16 and rode bike from the age of eleven
i have on my licence the right to drive cars/trucks/buses and ride bike so dont make judgments on people you dont know and will never meet unless you fancy a trip to the uk and i can show you i can ride and have rode many many miles if my life  Angry

Oggy, I think the misunderstanding came about from a language standpoint. In the article on the deer hit, the rider did NOT see the deer before he hit it. Around where that happened and in MANY other places in the States, the foliage comes right up to the roadside. Deer jump out in front of you before you can ract. After he got stopped, he, of course, saw that it was a deer hit. He did not know, until he got stopped, what caused the horrible impact and resulting handling difficulties. When you stated that it could have been a child, it was offensive to many since it seemed like you thought the rider hit the deer on purpose OR that he was not observant to what was in the road in front of him. Neither of those are true or accurate observations. Undecided
